Time: 9:00am to 5:00pm
Meet up with driver guide at hotel lobby. First place to go is eating Dim Sum at Georgetown as breakfast. After breakfast, discover the George Town area where you will start your day at Chew Jetty, one among the eight clan jetties of Pengkalan Weld where the village is built on stilts. It is also one of the mural site for Ernest Zacharevic’s ‘Mirrors George Town’ project that was in conjunction with George Town Festival 2012. Then you can also visit Queen Victoria Clock Tower, Fort Cornwallis, Penang City Hall, coastline along Esplanade, Logan Heritage building, and followed by a visit to the State Museum which houses a fine collection of old photographs, maps and charts. Then we pass by the colourful Little India and loustling China Town. During the tour, you get to visit our local famous hand-made pastries retail boutique, and you can taste and bring home the authentic Penang flavour that has 160 years of history. Next venue will be having lunch at local market – Cecil Street Market (own cost – not included) and eat dessert, Penang Famous Cendol – Penang Road. Make a rest stop at local product/souvenir shop. Tour proceed to next venue by visiting Kek Lok Si Temple. Before tour ended, we will go to eat Penang Famous Assam Laksa nearby temple. Send back to Hotel. End of service.
